Pulled pork

INGREDIENTS

 

1kg pork belly roast

1tbs paprika

1 tbs cumin

1/4 cup brown sugar

1tbs chilli flakes

1 tsp pepper

1 tbs olive oil

METHOD

 

Mix dry rub ingredients together

Pat dry the pork

Rub olive oil on to the pork

Rub a little bit of the dry rub mixture

Heat up oil on a pan

Place pork in the pan and brown

*If pan is too hot it may make the meat burn and have a charcoal taste and small as sugar can burn fast

Place meat in a slow cooker and drizzle rest of the rub on it and cook on high for 30minutes

Reduce heat to low and slow cook foe about 6 hrs until its falling apart.
